Do you have leftover unused disposable nappies lying around? The Nappy Collective will redistribute your nappies to organisations that support families in need. BREASTMILK

The mission of Human Milk 4 Human Babies Global Network is to promote the nourishment of babies and children around the world with human milk. The group is dedicated to fostering community between local families who have chosen to share breastmilk. The group uses social media as a platform for local families to make real-life connections and come together as sustainable milk-sharing communities in which women graciously share their breastmilk. West Welcome Wagon is a grassroots initiative assisting asylum seekers in the inner west of Melbourne. Originally started by Yarraville resident Mia McGregor in September 2013, the group has grown very quickly and seeks to offer support in many ways, shapes and forms.  The group is made up of volunteers, a growing number of which have offered their houses as storage/drop-off points. West Welcome Wagon accepts all sorts of baby, child and household items, so if you have something you’d like to donate, get in touch via the Facebook page by clicking the link above.

The Asylum Seeker Resource Centre is Australia’s leading asylum seeker organisation, which works at the coalface, assisting some of the more disadvantaged people in our community. BABY AND MATERNITY ITEMS

St Kilda Mums is a volunteer-run, not-for-profit organisation based in St Kilda, Melbourne. The organisation collects donations of pre-loved nursery equipment, cots, prams, car seats, clothes and other baby essentials. These donations are distributed to Melbourne families experiencing hardship, through partnerships with maternal and child health nurses and local social service agencies.

The Caroline Chisolm Society is a professional agency of social and community workers, service support staff and volunteers, who offer pregnancy counselling and support, material aid and family support. OLD COMPUTERS

Computerbank is an independent, not-for-profit organisation, run by volunteers, which refurbishes donated computers with quality free software. These computers are offered to disadvantaged individuals and community groups. Older and broken equipment is responsibly recycled, does not end up in landfill and is not sent to unsafe dismantling plants in third-world countries.

OLD WEDDING DRESSES

Angel Gowns is  a community organisation of volunteers who hope to touch the hearts of everyone who has suffered the tragic loss their baby. From donated wedding gowns, volunteers lovingly hand-craft ‘Angel Gowns’, which are then gifted to Neonatal Intensive Care Units and Hospitals all around Australia and New Zealand.
